Our Helpdesk – Here When You Need Us

Our Adoption Support Helpdesk is your first point of contact if you need advice, reassurance, or a listening ear. Our team is empathic, knowledgeable, and consistent: we’re here to support you and your family.

When you get in touch, we can:

  • Offer guidance and information tailored to your situation

  • Provide reassurance and practical advice

  • Carry out an initial assessment to help decide together what the next steps should be

Who We Support

  • Families with children aged 0–18 years

  • Young adopted adults up to age 21 (or up to 25 if they have an active Education, Health and Care Plan)

  • Families who may need help accessing the Adoption Support and Special Guardianship Fund (ASGSF)

  • Anyone who needs signposting to useful resources or services

Our Helpdesk is open Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm. We aim to respond to all enquiries within three working days.

If you leave us a voicemail or send an email outside of these hours, don’t worry—we check messages regularly and will get back to you. Appointments can also be arranged at times that work best for your family.
