Friends and Family Training
20th December 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
This three hour virtual session will allow the friends and family of people that are adopting to gain an oversight and basic understanding of the following areas;
- the backgrounds of children placed for adoption
- attachment theory and how children placed for adoption can form healthy attachments
Which will hopeful enable you to feel better prepared and more understanding of the role you can play in supporting the adoptive parents and their children
on their life long adoption journey.
**N.B. This course needs to be booked by a social worker and is intended for the relatives and friends of those already in the assessment process**
